This is the beginning of Katja. I would have knit it in the round if I had circular needles in the right size. At least it is a small project, so the stockinette and seaming shouldn't be too tedious.

I just came across that pattern today while lurking at knittinghelp.com's forum! I really think it's cute. Before seeing it, I was planning on creating an apron top that tied at the neck and middle back. Now that I've found Katja, I can use that pattern and maybe leave the back open with I-cord ties...Your yarn color is pretty!
Oh, I love the Katja-pattern, and yours is already coming along so nicely - great color that you chose! I'm looking forward to seeing more progress pics of it! Happy Knitting!
